Calgary and Vancouver family lawyer Marcus Sixta brings a unique insight to his work with clients who are dealing with the challenges of a divorce or separation.
Before his call to the bar in 2012, Sixta, the founder of Crossroads Law, obtained his bachelor of social work degree and was employed as a counsellor in an addiction services organization. “It has given me a very good perspective not only on family dynamics, but also on the developmental needs of children, and the attachment that they require with both parents,” says Sixta. “Conflict resolution was also a big part of my training in social work, and something I dealt with on a regular basis.”
