Welcoming Catherine Andrews, Our New Family Lawyer in Calgary

Crossroads Law is delighted to welcome family lawyer Catherine Andrews to our Calgary team.

Catherine is committed to providing personalized legal services, adopting a trauma-informed, client-centred approach that carefully considers where her clients are and where they aspire to be. This philosophy underpins her dedication to championing innovative, cost-effective solutions that prioritize her clients' safety, security, and overall well-being.

Her journey into family law is marked by her commitment to her clients, particularly those encountering the most challenging periods of their lives. Catherine’s early career at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic was instrumental in shaping her approach, providing vital legal support to abused and vulnerable women and solidifying her resolve to advocate for families and vulnerable populations.

Catherine refined her legal expertise at a boutique family law firm where she assisted clients across a broad spectrum of family law matters, including child protection and cases involving Indigenous communities. This experience deepened her empathetic understanding of the emotional, mental, and spiritual challenges clients often face.

As a staunch advocate for alternative dispute resolution methods, Catherine actively seeks opportunities to empower and support her clients through collaborative divorce, mediation, and arbitration when appropriate. She understands these methods not only save time and reduce costs but also lessen the emotional strain associated with traditional legal processes. When necessary, Catherine is a formidable litigator, having successfully represented clients at all levels of court.

We are excited to have Catherine Andrews join our Calgary office and look forward to her contributions to our team and the community!
